Skin Cancer

Skin Cancer is the most common cancer in the UK and the incidence is increasing every year. This includes both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer.

Factors that may increase your risk of melanoma skin cancer include over exposure to the sun, sunburn in childhood, personal or family history of skin cancer, having fair skin and having a large number of moles or atypical moles. Having one or several of these risk factors does not necessarily mean you will develop skin cancer.
